The bodyboarder Luna Hardman, daughter of the five-time bodyboard champion Neymara Carvalho, is the newest athlete sponsored by ArcelorMittal Tubarão. She is the Pro Junior world ranking leader and will take part in the last events of the 2022 World Circuit in Europe in September eyeing the Pro Junior World Championship.
Luna will participate in the Sintra Pro event from
September 5th to 11th in Portugal and the Morey Boogie La
Salie Pro from September 23rd to 25th in France. “I am
extremely happy with this sponsorship becoming a reality and I’m very
confident. I’m currently the Pro Junior leader based on a lot of dedication,
and I hope to bring good results to Brazil”, said the athlete.
According to the Sustainability and Institutional Relations General Manager, João Bosco Reis da Silva, the sponsorship is in line with the current intentions of the company to support sports and women empowerment. “This is a doubly gratifying partnership for us as it not only reinforces our support to sports, especially in one that has made so many champions from local communities and which has revealed so many new talents, but also strengthens women’s leading role in sports and their participation in world famous events”, he commented.
